Much to my surprise I found myself reading a
Journal in my inbox by *
dittin03 Please read her journal for the details, but I'll summarize here:
A young mother with a husband in the military and two young daughters live with an aviary where they breed parrots. The mother discovered *
dittin03 because of her skill in painting feathers, so she requested that in exchange for sending her some of the feathers from their pidgeons, that *
dittin03 would paint something to inspire her youngest child who has taken stongly to drawing art. During the course of their emails back and forth, *
dittin03 learns that a man broke into their aviary and killed all the parrots, and was later caught peeping into the daughter's windows. The mother was worried but quickly brushed it off in the conversation. When *
dittin03 finally finished her commission and sent an email with the exciting news, it was the husband writing back, for the mother had just passed away just on the 15th.
*
dittin03 is asking for help for all us artists to draw something inspiring and strenthening for this family in their time of need, and she'll put it all together in a big card to send to them. Basically, let's find a way to help lift their spirits and keep them going strong through especially troubled times. She wants everything together by Nov. 27, so you don't have long to work on your contribution if you choose to send your words along. I will draw something myself and sent it along.

In lighter news - or darker, depending on how you look at it - I find myself facing only three weeks left until winter break. So little time, so much to get done! But I'm proud of my works in progress, and I'll put them up once I can actually get them looking professional. It's about time I started uploading more 3D art!
I'm also going to work on overhauling my websites again, since my personal one hasn't been updated in forever and I'm starting to actually retain some web codes to mess with. If I can start making things look more professional, I know I'll be better off in the long run. My Deviantart will stay casual, however, so don't worry!

Until recently, Salahare did not believe in signatures.
But you know what?
Until recently she didn't believe in witty last remarks, either.
